Course Overview

This course introduces participants to OpenClaw, an open-source autonomous AI agent framework, and demonstrates how to connect it to real-world financial data using the Sectors API. The session covers the conceptual foundations of AI agents, a live demonstration, a guided installation walkthrough, and a hands-on exercise querying live Indonesian stock market data through natural language.

By the end, participants will understand what separates an AI agent from a standard chatbot, be able to set up and configure OpenClaw, connect it to a messaging platform, and use natural language to retrieve and interpret real financial data.

Who is this for?
Tech-curious professionals, analysts, and developers who want practical exposure to AI agent frameworks. Basic familiarity with the command line and installing software is expected. No prior AI development or financial analysis experience required — though a basic understanding of what APIs are will be helpful.
